Day 16: Further discussion of pinyin
Track 16
The combination of consonants and vowels gives a Chinese word. First we combine the consonants “b”, “p”, “m”, and “f”, with the vowel “a”. Sound out the consonant “b”, then immediately follow with the vowel “a”. Then let the two sounds flow together to produce the single sound “ba”. Practice combining with the vowel “a” using the other consonants. Repeat with the vowels “i”, “u”, and “ű”.
