Day 98 - Making Comparisons and Going to the Library
Today we will learn how to make comparisons and learn a Chinese spring idiom. We will also do a dialogue about going to the library.

Pinyin: xiàng xiàtiān yíyàng.

Chinese: 象… 一样…
COE：Like …same…
Pinyin: Xiàng … yíyàng …

Chinese: 你的猫长得什么样子? (What do your cats look like?)
COE: Your cat look what?
Pinyin: Nǐ de māo zhǎng de shénme yàngzi?)

Chinese: 一场春雨一场绿。 (One Spring shower brings green.)
COE: one spring rain one green.
Pinyin: Yì cháng chūnyǔ yì cháng lǜ.

Chinese: 你去图书馆学习还是看书？(Are you going to study or read books in the library?)
COE: You go library study or read book?
Pinyin:Nǐ qù túshūguǎn xuéxí háishi kànshū?

Chiense: 我忘记带我的学生证。(I forgot to bring my student card.)
COE: I forget bring my student card.
Pinyin: Wǒ wàngjì dài wǒ de xuéshēngzhèng.

Chiense: 你带学生证了吗？(Did you bring your student card with you?)
COE: You bring student card?
Pinyin: Nǐ dài xuéshēngzhèng le ma?

“三思而后行”。[“Think three times before you speak.”]
COE: Three time think then act
Pinyin: “Sān sī ér hòu xíng”.

[Does today’s weather look like spring?]
B： 对。(Duì.)
[Yes.]

这个狗象猫一样。(Zhège gǒu xiàng māo yíyàng.)
[This dog looks like a cat.]

[So cute!]

[Are you going to study or read in the library?]
B: 我去图书馆看书。(kànshū.)
[I’m going to the library to read books.]

A：去看书还是借书?(Qù kànshū háishi jièshū?)
[To study or borrow books?]
B：借书。(Jiè shū.)
[Borrow books.]

A：借什么书？（Jièshèn me shū?）
[What book do you want to borrow?]
B： 借一本中文书本。(Jiè yìběn Zhōngwén shūběn.)
[I want to borrow a Chinese book.]

A：你带学生证了吗？（Nǐ dài xuéshēngzhèng le ma?）
[Did you bring student ID card with you?]
B：我带了。（Wǒ dài le.）
[Yes.]
